JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Service Sales Representative (SSR)
Position Reports To: Direct line reporting to the District Manager but will work closely and take direction on daily activities from the Route Supervisor, Service or Terminal Manager.
Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Ensures complete and accurate delivery and pick up of uniforms, mats, shop towels, gloves and other items supplied by Coyne to customers on a daily basis in accordance with the Company guidelines and standards and in a way that maintains high levels of customer satisfaction, exudes professionalism, and a positive Company image.

Proper loading and unloading of Coyne-supplied vehicle with daily route goods in accordance with the Company guidelines and standards. This includes proper handling of individual textile products in accordance to soil separation policy, procedures and classifications.

Achieves minimum positive route growth within existing accounts and secures new accounts in accordance with the local plant standards. Supports all Company route sales promotions and sales sampling programs with full and active participation to achieve the program goals and objectives.

Ensures that monthly Customer Visitations and contract renewals are complete for the route as required by our Commitment To Service program to ensure that our customers are satisfied with our service.

Adheres to policies and procedures of the Commitment To Service program and Company guidelines and standards for the Customer-Is-First (CIF) process. Answers any questions the customer may have and if unable to answer, be able to find the solution and supply the customer with an answer within an appropriate timeframe.

Adheres to all administrative requirements in a neat and accurate manner of the Commitment To Service program and Company guidelines and standards by following policy and procedures in regards to writing work orders, including size changes, repairs, transfers, replacement or return to stock items, increases, decreases, add-men, cancel-men, new sales, settling daily book of receipts, money, charges, credits, loss & abuse, garment control logs / garment cards, and the daily route check-in process with service management personnel.

Maintains quality assurance and quality control for all customers on the route and maintains customer retention and satisfaction levels on the route in accordance with local plant standards. Specifically, maintaining controllable loss business and customer satisfaction levels in existing customer base in accordance with the Company standards

Evaluates each account prior to delivery for billing and delivery accuracy, past due accounts receivables and adherence to the contract on a monthly basis.

Maintains proper inventory levels in all accounts, conducts customer audits yearly or as deemed necessary by management. Controls and manages all merchandise and inventories in accordance with Company guidelines and standards.

Follows Company guidelines and standards to the Commitment to Service program and projects the Coyne image and positive attitude to the public and peers at all times.

Keeps up-to-date and accurate route book in accordance with local plant standards.

Maintains garment locker and soil pick-up areas of customers' sites (i.e. picking up hangers, plastic wrap, emptying hanger racks, maintaining accurate locker labeling, etc).

Maintains cleanliness of inside of assigned Coyne vehicle in accordance with Company guidelines and standards. Coyne trucks must be kept in a safe, organized, clean condition at all times.

Adheres to safe driving practices and appropriate, safe personal behavior while on customers' sites.

Demonstrates self-management in respect to the route while maintaining a daily check-in with immediate supervisor.

Assists service team as required with out-of-cycle new account installations, special requests, special deliveries and/or runbacks to customers on the route.

Start time is determined per route at the discretion of the Service Manager or Terminal Manager. Start time is generally 6:00 a.m.
