JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Business Development Executive (BDE)
Position Report To: General Manager
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- This is a sales position with responsibility for identifying, developing, and securing new customers within the assigned sales territory.
- Work is performed with considerable independence within established policy and procedures.
- The position involves substantial customer and management interaction.
Specific duties include and are not limited to the following:
- Manages sales and marketing activities as defined by management within an assigned sales territory.
- Identifies new business prospects within the assigned sales territory.
- Cultivates relationships with prospective new customers, and identifies their needs, develops effective sales programs and presentations to acquire these prospects as new customers for the Company.
- Organizes sales efforts in the assigned sales territory including ensuring that sales results information is timely reported and expected results are met.
- Collects marketing information within the assigned sales territory, tracking, and communicating this information in a timely, accurate, comprehensive manner that will build sales.
- Ensures that all required reports are submitted in a timely, accurate basis.
- Implements sales and marketing programs, techniques, practices, methods, and systems as provided to increase and protect the Company's image, build brand awareness, and achieve sales goals.
- Supports all Company sales and marketing programs and makes recommendation on sales strategies for improvement of the Company's success within the assigned sales territory.
- Works closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to install our products and services with new business in a timely, accurate manner.
- Maintains strong relationships with customers, prospective customers, internal departments, and external vendors.
- Builds relationships within the local community by participating in local trade shows, Chambers of Commerce, community organizations and other means.
- Commits to continuing education in the field of professional sales, and aspires to excel both personally and professionally.
- Acts with the highest level of integrity and honesty at all times and when in conflict, holds the customer's interests above all others.

Education: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
